Vito Zagarrio - Director

Vito Zagarrio was born in Florence from a Sicilian family. He graduated in Letters at Florence University. Then he studied Direction at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and he followed, in 1975, a Master Class in Arts and Cinema Studies at the New York University, were he also got a PhD in Cinema Studied in 1995. From 1975, the activity of a cine-television scholar and essayistare is crossed with the directing activity for cinema and television. In 1988 he realized he's first HD movie with the Eureka System, Un bel dì vedremo, that won the Seleco/David di Donatello special price for HD.

His first full-length movie was La donna della luna with Greta Scacchi. His latest film, The giorni d'anarchia was a great success in Festival around the world. He is the director of Costa Iblea Film Festival and Roma 3 Film Festival. At the moment he's a professor at the University of Rome Three, and from 2013 director of Audiovisual production center.

Christian Carmosino - Technical Chief

Graduated in Literature with a thesis on short films. Has 20 years experience in organization of film screenings and events. Has cooperated and worked for various festivals and has worked at the National Film Library - Cineteca Nazionale (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia).

In 2005 founded OFF!CINE, a film society and a film company created to promote film/multimedia screenings and productions. In 2010 he has been the artistic director of [CINEMA.DOC], the first Italian project for distributing documentary films in national theaters. From 2011 to 2015 he's been the curator of the Doc/it Professional Award, the Italian professional prize for the Best Italian Documentary of the Year. From 2013 to 2015 he was the artistic director of THE DOCUMENTARY MONTH. He's been member of the National Board of Doc/it (Italian documentary Association). Director of short films and documentaries. Some of his films have been screened and awarded all around the world. In 2015 his screenplay "Emma & Maria" was Finalist at Franco Solinas Prize.

He works at CPA - Audiovisual Production Center since 2005.

Emiliano Aiello - Public Relations

Born in Rome in 1975, after his studies in Filmology began to work as director and editor for the Audio Visual Production Centre of the University of Rome 3. Working for the Centre, he has created several works including the documentary Samuel Beckett, an Italian family (2006) and What a pity that we lost! (2007), history of the encounter between the Spanish and Italian cinema during the 60s. He worked as production manager for the film The Dowser (2004) directed by Fabrizio Cattani. In 2013 he made a documentary for Sky Arts, Opera for Cantalupo, on the work of the artist Paolo William Tamburella.​

At the moment he's a PhD students in Cinema at the Rome Tre University of Rome.
